Good to Know
Plan for altitude, weather, and mountain-town timing
Leadville is beautiful, but the elevation is real. Give yourself time to adjust, drink water, bring layers, and expect cool mornings and evenings even in summer.
Summer weekends, race events, and peak fall weekends can make lodging harder to find. If Leadville is your main stop, book early and give yourself extra time to explore.
